Silver Surfeurs, 2005
Burnt skateboards, ashes, glitter

Silver Surfers speaks of the alteration of energy and memory; from skateboarding we go to making fire with broken skateboards to finally telling stories around the fire. What now remains is the memory of that fire itself the memory of those skateboards. Campfire made of broken skateboards, Silver Surfers brings a primal image of the band of brothers around the fire to the notion of the aftermath of our times. Myth and dystopia gather the
speech and murmur around the fire and keep it going.
